Good evening everyone! Just wanted to remind fellow lions that there is a meeting tomorrow night October 23. Meal is at 6:30pm and meeting is after the meal. If your not a member and would like to join come on over. Some of the members start showing up around 6pm. Hope to see you there.

Hello friends and fellow lion members. Tomorrow night Friday June 26 is our next regular meeting. Meal at 6:30 and meeting afterward. Also dues for upcoming fiscal year are due. They are $60 for the year. Anyone who sees this and wants to join. Just show up. We are always looking for new members. Hope to see you there.

Hello fellow lions and friends. Just a reminder Saturday June 6 is our chicken bbq. Pickup is 11am to 4pm. Cost of the chicken is $4.50 per half. For those members still needing to turn tickets lion Merrill will be at clubhouse collecting tickets from 6 to ?. Also will need help from members to start setting up for bbq Friday evening. Then need help Saturday with bbq.

You will now need to contact Charlie (Chuck) Bryner Sr. at 717-527-4109. If a answer machine picks up leave name, phone number, which pavilion, and date you wish to use. Please share and tell anyone you see.

This is lions at it best!

This is not a religious FB page, but that is all I could think of when I (Colette) took a CCTV to Locust Grove Retirement home last week. NuVisions was lending a machine to a woman there named "Tillie." As I set up the machine she was armed with her bible, ready to again read the words she had not been able to read for a long time.
The connection had been set up by a gentleman from the Port Royal Lions Club (pictured here.) As Tillie learned how to operate the simple machine she was so excited to be able to read the words, she was going so fast, I had to slow her down a bit so she would not get dizzy. She read scripture after scripture so happy and thrilled to be able to read those words at long last.
Having shown her family and staff and her how to use the machine, I left feeling like THAT was a pretty good day!
