‼️Friendly Reminder‼️

We love having families come out and support our girls, but we need your help making sure younger siblings and other children are supervised during practices and games.

We’ve had some issues with kids wandering into classrooms, concession stands, bathrooms, and other areas they shouldn’t be in.

Our schools are kind enough to let us use their facilities, and we want to make sure we’re respecting their space.

Please remind your kiddos to stay in designated areas and keep an eye on them. If these issues continue, we may have to consider closing practices to spectators, which we’d really like to avoid.

Thank y’all for understanding and helping us keep things running smoothly!

🏐🖤THIS is what community looks like! 🖤🏐

We want to give a HUGE shoutout to some of our incredible PYA Volleyball coaches and parents who stepped up in a BIG way for our girls!

As many of you know, we have been dealing with an unexpected jersey situation. We want to give everyone a little transparency on what happened.

On August 26th, we received confirmation from our jersey company that our order had been submitted and that the jerseys had been printed. From that point forward, we continued following up and were repeatedly reassured about the order. Unfortunately, we found out yesterday that production had not even started.

Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed and frustrated. We know our parents have been frustrated too, and we completely understand. We made plans based on the information we were being given, and unfortunately this situation was outside of PYA’s control.

BUT… this is where the story gets GOOD. 🦁

Instead of letting our girls show up for another game without something matching to wear, some pretty amazing people in our community said, “We’ve got this.”

Our coaches and parents rallied together and are pulling off the nearly impossible getting approximately 80 shirts made OVERNIGHT so every one of our girls has a matching team shirt to wear for Saturday’s games!

THAT is what PYA is about.

It’s not just volleyball. It’s coaches, parents, volunteers, and community members coming together when something doesn’t go according to plan and making sure our KIDS are taken care of.

To everyone who jumped in, offered equipment, donated their time, helped organize, printed, pressed, sorted, or did whatever needed to be done to make this happen THANK YOU. We appreciate you more than you know.

Our girls may not have their official jerseys Saturday, but they’re going to walk into that gym MATCHING and knowing they have a whole community behind them.

It takes a village and ours showed up BIG. 🦁🖤🏐

🏐🎓 Congratulations to our 2026 PYA Volleyball Scholarship Recipients, Kenzie Ray and Brylee Hensley! 🎓🏐

Thank you both for the countless hours, commitment, leadership, and time you have poured into our younger athletes over the years. The impact you've made goes far beyond the volleyball court. You have helped teach, encourage, and inspire the next generation of players, and we are so thankful for everything you have done for our PYA family. ❤️

We are incredibly proud of you girls and cannot wait to watch you chase your dreams and see what your futures hold. Thank you for leaving your mark on our program and for being role models for so many young athletes.

Congratulations and best of luck in your next chapter!
