Today, Tameka Ramsey-Brown, our Executive Director, partnered with Michigan United to emphasize the importance of the Juneteenth buycott program. We recognize that it is vital to support businesses that value and appreciate our community, rather than simply withdrawing our resources from those that neglect or harm us. We encourage everyone to support and shop at Black-owned businesses during the month of June. If you are a Black-owned business in Oakland County and would like to be promoted during the week of Juneteenth, please contact us.
