Cathey was born in Detroit, MI and is considered “Your Everyday
Residential Builder”. He attended Michigan State University and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2012. He became a licensed Residential Builder in 2018. He sparked interest in real estate towards the end of his college days and decided to act upon it after graduation. Along with his Partners,
he established Live Better Real Estate which has since pioneered into many more successful ventures. His work consists of rehabilitating homes, offering modern housing options, and growing and maintaining two real estate companies. Cerronne has a
genuine passion for community development and does not take no for an answer. His personal goal is to create communities where no one is of lack, to instill generational values that will continue to uplift families. Thus far, the ventures have been able to complete over 100 renovation projects since 2013. He now works full-time in this trade. Agent Quay is a husband and a father of a baby girl. He loves spending time with his family and working to develop his community. He also loves entrepreneurship and real estate specifically. At the young age of 16, he started his first business selling snacks and refreshments in High School. From there Quay went to Michigan State University to pursue a Supply Chain degree. While on Campus, he led business student organizations, served as a manager and financial analyst at the Wharton Center and did internships at GE and FCA. Since graduating with a Supply Chain degree in 2012, Quay
has worked in the automotive industry in global procurement, partnered with Cerronne Cathey to help develop and build and has obtained certifications in mortgage lending and real estate selling over 50 homes in southeast Michigan. Quay is an excellent visionary, expert negotiator and shrewd market analyst. Quay and Cerronne have a real estate investing company that relies on their
experiences, knowledge and network to gain a competitive edge. They’ve had success acquiring, renovating and selling homes throughout Oakland and Wayne counties. They work with investors to buy single family homes, remodel them and sell for profit. Aspirations of QCS include:
•Managing liquid and long term assets
•New commercial and residential development
•Developing tradesmen and women for the construction industry via school and development programs
QCS has experience renovating and selling many properties. They have many
experiences in the industry including fix-n-flips, wholesaling, contract assignments, land contracts, lease options, and buy and hold investments. With a licensed builder, real estate agent, mortgage loan originator and a project manager on the team, QCS is able to cover the main aspects of every deal in house. Covering these functions while working with their extended network that they’ve built over the years helps ensure that all bases are covered and that no steps are missed.
