Mentor recap of February workshop 💛

Thank you to every mentor, staff member, and volunteer who showed up with your time, energy, and heart. This program couldn’t have started successfully without you — each of you matters, and the impact you bring is truly unique.

During our recap, we all agree that WE ARE IMPORTANT! We all came back to the same truth: we’re here because we care about these teenagers. We want to be a steady support system, help them grow up happier, and create space for them to discover who they are — with confidence, purpose, and hope.

Thank you again for your dedication, your effort, and your belief in what we’re building together. Let’s keep going 💪✨

Second session = AMAZING 🥹✨ So happy to see you all again!

We took on the Marshmallow Spaghetti Tower Challenge and wow… every team was SO creative and smart. You proved that a strong tower isn’t just about structure — it’s about teamwork. The more you communicated and supported each other, the stronger the tower became 🏗️💪

We also did a fun activity running left + right to spot our habits, and learned a big life lesson: environment is stronger than personal will. Good habits grow faster when we’re surrounded by a good, supportive environment 🌱🤝

Huge shoutout to all the staff and volunteers for making today run so smoothly, and special love to Cindy’s Thai tea (obsessed 🧋😍) and Heartland for sponsoring the snacks! Thank you for fueling our minds and our energy 💛

Can’t wait for the next session — more growth, more laughs, more memories together ✨

First mentor + mentee meetup = ✅ ORIENTATION DAY COMPLETE 🎉💛

Today was our very first time getting everyone together, and it was such a happy, fun start. Every mentor and mentee is so lovely, talented, and unique! We loved getting to know you all!

We played Human Bingo, took on a LEGO challenge, and through all the laughs we also learned something real: teamwork + communication matter (and we get better at them when we try together). 🙌🧩

Huge shoutout to our amazing volunteers for making everything run smoothly ❤️❤️❤️! This program wouldn’t happen without you. 🫶 And yes… the boba + snacks were a HIT. 🧋😄

The first meeting went so well, and we already can’t wait for the next meetup to make even more beautiful memories together ✨
