Last week, our College Team hosted our annual College Kickoff! 🎓💙

The event gave our college students an opportunity to reconnect, network, catch up, and enjoy time together before continuing their journeys throughout the school year. For many students, these gatherings are one of the few opportunities they have to see one another in person, making this time together especially meaningful.

At Bright Prospect, we are proud to continue supporting our students beyond high school and throughout their college journeys. Whether they need a quick check-in, guidance, or simply a space to reconnect, we are always cheering them on every step of the way.

As our rising juniors prepare to begin their second-to-last year of high school, we wanted to provide them with the opportunity to build meaningful connections before the school year officially begins.

Our Junior Day Social brought students together to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new peers, and strengthen the community they will carry with them throughout the year ahead. By creating these connections early, students begin the year with a strong support system and a network of peers they can learn and grow alongside.

We're excited to see these connections continue to grow throughout the school year.

Strong communities are built through meaningful connections.

At our recent Power Social, rising and current college students came together for an afternoon of friendly Mario Kart competition, creative team challenges, and conversation. From creating team names and posters to cheering each other on, the event provided a fun space to connect beyond the classroom.

As students shared their college experiences, offered advice, and got to know one another, they began building relationships that can serve as a source of encouragement throughout their college journey. Whether they were meeting for the first time or reconnecting with familiar faces, each interaction helped strengthen our Bright Prospect community.

We're grateful to create spaces where students can learn from one another, expand their support networks, and continue building connections that last well beyond a single event.

Some of the best moments that happened at Pre-College Retreat were in between the workshops. From meeting new friends and connecting with coaches to sharing laughs and making memories, students began creating a community they’ll carry with them throughout their journey.

PCR was more than a four-day experience, it’s the beginning of a support system that lasts all the way to college and beyond.

One of the highlights of Pre-College Retreat was Beach Day!

Crews built stronger connections through a sandcastle-building competition, friendly volleyball and badminton matches while also enjoying the sea!

Every game and competition brought new opportunities to cheer each other on, build trust, and create memories that made each crew even stronger.

Pre-College Retreat gave students the opportunity to prepare for more than just college, it prepared them for life.✨

Throughout the retreat, students participated in engaging workshops and heard from inspiring guest speakers who led real conversations about topics that matter, including mental wellness, personal safety, healthy relationships, self-advocacy, and navigating new environments with confidence.

BP College Decision Day is a very special event we host for our seniors, where our community comes together to celebrate their futures.

We’ve had the privilege of walking alongside these students throughout their journey—supporting them as they explored their post-high school plans and stood with them through both their challenges and accomplishments.

Our team is incredibly proud to honor and celebrate the graduating class of 2026. This moment is a celebration of hard work and resilience. This moment is about the relationships, the trust, and the sense of togetherness we’ve built along the way — it’s about the future, and who these young people will become.

At Bright Prospect, we are honored to have been part of their journey, and even more excited to celebrate what comes next. We’re here not only for this moment, but for every step of discovery, growth, and the beginning of their careers ahead.

Hello BP Supporters!

Today, we kick off our Spring Scholarship Campaign: RISING TOGETHER—and we need your help to raise $20,000 for BP student scholarships!

You all know how transformative higher education can be, and how often finances stand in the way. At a time when education funding is being significantly cut, your support matters more than ever.
Check out this video to hear from students whose paths were changed by Bright Prospect scholarships. Throughout the campaign, we’ll be sharing student stories as a reminder of what your generosity makes possible.

Thank you for rising with us! BP Team

A big thank you to Chicano Student Programs for hosting us and giving our students the opportunity to experience college life, learn from inspiring speakers, and explore what their future could look like.
