Our Founder Dr Price day long trip closed out at Benedict College and ended the night at the amazing graduation ceremony with over 240 graduates. We had several students graduate. This was sooo exciting 🥰. Here is an INSIDE LOOK at founded In 1870 by the American Baptist Home Mission Society to educate freedmen and their descendants, was originally called Benedict Institute. It was named for Stephen and Bathsheba Benedict of Rhode Island, whose bequest created the school. Mrs. Benedict donated money to buy land In Columbia.
We have an amazing partnership with BC through this partnership we can help students with scholarships 💰

continues in the Carolinas. Here’s an Inside Look at a hidden gem Claflin University voted as one of the top 10 HBCUs in the country. Founded in 1869. Claflin is a private university. With so much land the state asked for them to donate land for the state HBCU Carolina State University. Claflin University is located in Orangeburg South Carolina and is accepting students now!

Our Founder Dr Price takes us for a quick inside look at HBCU Voorhees University in Denmark South Carolina.
Founded in 1897 by a Black Woman name Elizabeth Evelyn Wright. New Jersey philanthropist Ralph Voorhees and his wife donated $5,000 to buy the land and build the first building.
Voorhees University offers several degree programs and even advance degrees. They have open enrollment and also have offerings for international students. Voorhees University is a great partner to Black College Expo. Ready to serve ALL students!

Our Founder Dr Price took day long road trip to the Carolinas to give us an “Inside Look” 👀 at some amazing HBCUs like Founded in 1879 by Joseph Price “The Birthplace of Black College Football”

FACT: The very first game was played December 27th 1892 between Zion Wesley Institute now called Livingstone College vs Biddle College now called Johnson C Smith University
