The Celtic Club of NE CT is a welcoming nonprofit cultural center that brings together the music and community spirit of all Celtic-influenced traditions, including Irish, Scottish, Maritime, and Bluegrass, for people throughout Northeast Connecticut.

🌿 Celtic Club of NECT – First Board Meeting Update 🌿

We’re excited to share that the Celtic Club of NECT held its first official board meeting on January 4, 2026!

At this meeting, the board finalized its initial structure, adopted bylaws, and took care of key organizational steps to get the club up and running.

Leadership roles were established, plans for opening a bank account were approved, and the board agreed to revisit nonprofit status in the future if and when it becomes necessary.

Looking ahead, a fundraising committee was formed, with plans for the club’s first fundraising event to take place later in 2026.

The next board meeting is scheduled for April 19, 2026, where we’ll be discussing new committees, future club locations, meeting spaces, and ways the community can support the club at events.

We’re grateful for the strong start and look forward to sharing more as we grow—thank you for following along and supporting the Celtic Club of NECT! 🍀
