What an incredible Cultural Arts Week! 🌎
This week, our students had a wonderful time learning about Mexico and Mexican culture through hands-on activities and delicious food. They created their own maracas, piñatas, and Day of the Dead-inspired sugar skull crafts, while also exploring the rich traditions and history behind each activity.
One of the highlights of the week was the opportunity to sample authentic Mexican food, giving students a true taste of the culture they were learning about.
A huge thank you to all of the volunteers who helped plan, organize, and bring Cultural Arts Week to life. Your time, creativity, and dedication made this experience so special for our students.
We would especially like to recognize Ivet Biancardi, who shared her firsthand knowledge and expertise as a native of Mexico, and prepared the delicious food. We are also grateful to Mexican Grill in Dayville for their generous donation of churros, which were a big hit with everyone! 💖
