11AAA made a great run in their second state tournament. They knocked off the #1 seed, Duluth, in pool play to advance to championship Sunday! They were celebrities back at the hotel as all the teams were congratulating them on the big W!

Later in the week, the team took home the league championship beating Prior Lake 3-1. It’s the third year straight this team has ended with the league championship!

📷 1-2: Wayzata 12AAA came into the week with 49 total wins on the season. We were matched up with the 2 seed at both MBT and GSTC, East Ridge, for the district championship game. Not only did we come away with a district championship, but we gained our 50th (!!!) win of the season! The overall record for these boys was 50-5-1, MBT Champs, lost in extra innings in the semis of GSTC, and Tier 1 District Champs! Now we head to Cooperstown!
📷 3-4: The Wayzata 9AAA Trojans capped off a tremendous 2026 campaign with an outstanding MBT tournament run, finishing as State Runner-Up against an extremely competitive field of teams. Wayzata went 5-1 on the weekend, falling just short in the championship game to a hot Lake Elmo squad. Just 2 days later, the Trojans were back on the diamond, competing in the MBL League Championship game on the shores of Lake Minnetonka against the Minnetonka Skippers. The team finished the year with 2 tournament championships, 4 runner-up finishes, and established themselves as one of the top teams in the state at their age level.
📷 5-7: 9U A Blue Gopher State Champs!
📷: 8-9: Wayzata 10AAA traveled to Plover, Wisconsin to take on some of the top teams in the state—and what a weekend it was! The boys went an impressive 6–1, bringing home the championship to cap off an unforgettable season. They finished the year with a 42–15 record!
📷 10: Wayzata 12A Blue won the Gopher state championship today playing 7 games over the weekend in 100 degree heat. The final game was against their crosstown rival, Minnetonka, and they won 13-12! Over 150 teams in the league, 40 qualified for state, and they won it!

📷 1-3: After a disastrous 0-2 start in pool play of the MBT State Tournament, the 10AA Blue boys figured it out, played hard and left it all out on the field. After winning their next 3 games, they lost their semi- final game to #1 seed Apple Valley in extra innings but beat Minnetonka to take home 3rd place in state!
📷 4: 11AA Blue capped off a tremendous season by finishing 2nd at the MBT State Championship. After allowing only 2 runs combined in 3 must win games, Wayzata had two marathon extra innings wins in the quarterfinals and semifinals by beating Rochester and Tonka Blue, who both finished 2nd and 1st at Gopher!
📷 5: 12A Blue are the MBL Season Playoff League Champions-beating Eagan to take the title!! Way to go boys!!
📷 6-7: 11A Blue concluded its up-and-down season by topping Lakeville North 13-6 in the Tier 5 MBT league championship game. Owen Pamperl collected 3 hits and 3 RBIs and pitched 4 strong innings before Asher DeWolf entered the game in relief and closed it out for the Trojans. Max Strom showed his power at the plate with a 2-run inside-the-park home run in the 1st inning, and Grant Bird and Lucas Annen each adding a pair of key hits.
