Northern Breezes Youth Sailing Camp

See our camp counselor bios in our notes section! Our camps are offered on Medicine Lake in Pymouth MN, out of French Regional Park.

At Northern Breezes we offer a variety of youth sailing camps for children ages 8-16 who have an interest in learning the great sport of sailing. We emphasize a safe, and fun atmosphere where your child can learn sailing and valuable life skills. At our camps, your child will learn to sail on safe and sturdy dinghies, and have opportunities to skipper a Hobie Bravo and a 17’ trimaran to gain more

fun experiences. For the older more experienced sailor we offer a Teen Keelboat camp, where your teen will learn to sail a 19’ Flying Scot sloop by one of our certified keelboat counselors in a small group setting. The Hobie Bravo is a California built catamaran that sails like a Laser or Sunfish. They are youth camp favorites which are routinely enjoyed by older teen counselors and keelboat sailors as well. Their recycled, rotomolded plastic construction adds greatly to their durability to go along with the fun and empowerment of this sailing dinghy.
