BE A HANDWASHING HERO! 💧
We turn on the tap without a second thought. But for millions of people, washing their hands with clean water isn’t that simple.

Today is Global Handwashing Day, and we’re celebrating something worth protecting—and sharing: the ability to wash our hands with safe, clean water.

Together, we can put clean water—and the power of clean hands—within reach for 9,982 people in Mloda, Tanzania.

TOGETHER, we cross the finish line!

What an incredible journey for Team TLP! Our runners have put their hearts into this effort, and we're so close to celebrating 100% of our individual fundraising goals met!

We have just ONE runner who could use a little extra support to reach his personal goal.

Could you help us get him across that fundraising finish line? Even a small contribution will help—and every dollar supports our shared mission of bringing sustainable clean water to rural Tanzania.

31 runners. One team. One mission. Let's finish together! 💙💚 Click here to help: https://tinyurl.com/TeamTLP-FinishStrong

This year's travel to oversee our projects and seek new candidate villages reminded me of the movie, Planes, Trains, and Automobiles!" It was an interesting experience! Many thanks to our videographer, .blegen! 😊

An idea + ex*****on + volunteers + fundraising = IMPACT

We’ve always thought a run to raise money for clean water was a great idea. But organizing a successful event seemed overwhelming for a small, all-volunteer nonprofit like ours.

Then along came Abdilahi AJ, our newest volunteer at Tanzania Life Project.

A.J. brought us the idea, Twin Cities In Motion provided the well-tested infrastructure, and our team of 27 volunteer runners is doing the “leg” work—participating in races throughout the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend (October 3-4)!

A.J.’s great idea became something we could run with! 😊

Now, Team TLP has surpassed our initial $10,000 fundraising goal and increased it to $13,000 to help bring sustainable clean water closer to home for families in rural Tanzania.

And that’s where you come in.

Just $35 can give one person a lifetime of access to clean water.

Every gift—no matter the size—helps our runners get closer to their goal and helps us bring clean water closer to home.

💧 Help Team TLP reach the finish line. See link in comments below.

Today, we pause to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the families who carry their memory, and the first responders and ordinary citizens who showed extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

May we never forget. 🇺🇸
