VFW’s Greyson Cushing plays catch with one of the members of our Challenger program.

We wrapped up the Challenger Program for 2026 on Friday night. What a blast! Including and involving all members of the program in this inaugural season was very special. We’re so proud of all the volunteers for the willingness to jump in head first and help out. We had many of our baseball and softball teams from all of our leagues come by and play with the kids, including our high school teams❤️

This is only the beginning! As the sun rises the day after we have finished, we already look forward to getting underway again in 2027.

Many thanks to League Coordinator and Founder of the Challenger Program, John DeVito. Without your vision, PYBS, the community, and our new ball players aren’t experiencing this enormous sense of pride we feel❤️

Attention PPS Parents: Bus Transportation Survey Reminder 🚌

We are working hard to schedule our school bus routes for the fall, but we need to hear from you first. We currently have a 50% response rate and need to know every student's intentions by June 30.

Please check your email for a message from [email protected] (try searching your student's name if you don't see it, or check your Spam folder). Please mark this as a "Safe" email in your email application.

Not seeing the email? No problem. Just call or email your school's main office secretary with your student's name and let them know if they will be riding the bus or not this fall! 📲📩

Thank you for helping us keep our transportation efficient and on schedule!
