About Homeward Bound
Homeward Bound was established on August 14th, 1973, by parents of children with a variety of physical and mental challenges. A non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, Homeward Bound supports children, adolescents, and adults with disabilities. We provide 24-hour specialized nursing care, group living environments, in-home services, and individualized housing options for persons of all ages and ethnic, racial, and religious backgrounds. The expertise we provide can be applied to virtually any situation or environment in which supports are desired including group living environments, the family home, or one’s own home. Homeward Bound follows a person-centered, active support approach to ensure that the individuals with disabilities we serve have a hand in directing their services and a voice concerning their future. We place no limits on what a person is capable of accomplishing. Every day we work to empower those we serve and their families with the resources to make informed decisions and control their own destiny. We believe that community interaction is central to a person’s life. We work to assist people to physically navigate and ensure accessibility so they can move about and be part of their community as a productive citizen. Everyone receiving services from Homeward Bound should be growing and developing their skills, making choices, and becoming interconnected with the community. Choice – Individuals with disabilities must be free to make choices and to maximize their authority over their own lives. Community – Individuals with disabilities must participate and partner with a variety of resources and support systems to promote individual enrichment. Inclusion – Individuals with disabilities must be included as part of their community to the same extent as individuals without disabilities. Integrity – Individuals with disabilities must be served by service providers who are lawful, ethical, safe, and have quality business practices and service environments. Guiding Principles
Teamwork – Services will be developed and overseen by a collaborative team of the individuals, staff, families, and outside agencies. Outcomes – Services will be implemented and measured according to a results-oriented approach to quality service and care, individual satisfaction, employee engagement, and business success.

💵 Earn $19.00/hour | $16.00 base wage + $3.00/hour "Every Weekend" Differential

🗓️ Saturday & Sunday schedules include:
• 7am–3pm
• 9am–3pm
• 3pm–9pm
• 3pm–11pm
Single or double shifts are available!

No experience required. We provide online and hands-on training!

Thanks to HandsOn Twin Cities & Target Corp., we will be having a Ramp Up to ART program this winter!

Each house will be asked to set aside an “ART space” for creating inspo, culminating in submitting an ART piece for ART Abilities!

Shout out to Bluebird House for making space to receive their ART Kits next month!! Good to see their holiday donations from BNI Maple Grove - NW Suburban Networkers being used as well!
