New Plimmoth Gard We are a group of people historically re-enacting 1621 to 1647 Plimoth Colony guard. We model the first citizen soldiers in the English Colonies.

New Plimmoth Gard consists of both men and women who have an interest in the Plimoth Colony at its start.

We had a great day at Aptucxet today, and if you missed it, we’ll be back tomorrow! The trading post here is a fabulous site and historically accurate for our group. Today we were portraying an event in 1637 where the Plimoth militia was prepping to travel to Connecticut to participate in the Pequot War. The conflict ended before the ship arrived, so we did not end up going after all.

Throwback Photo to 2017. Looks like coincident with a "Pirates Ashore" on Mayflower House grounds.
