Swing into Summer Exciting and affordable, Swing into Summer is an enlivening and relaxing weekend full of dance, song, music-making, and various other activities.

Our phenomenal staff will have you stomping your feet at the contra dance and raising your voices in a song. What You’ll Find: Swing into Summer features contra, English, ritual dancing; shape note, harmony and pub singing; and opportunities to play and call from morning until past midnight. There are also games; crafty projects; opportunities to relax in the sun and swim in the pond; surprises; a

nd, yes, our acclaimed All-Comers Ukulele Orchestra. Who’s Going To Be There: Our staff (listed at right) bring to the programming a wealth of experience in making the experience truly transcendent. In addition, there are also opportunities for YOU to organize your own cool/wacky/interesting class, party, or other collective creative endeavor. Where It Is: Located in Plymouth, MA, Pinewoods has a long history of inspiring and connecting members of the folk community in a magical and welcoming environment.

Get ready for Swing into Summer 2023, June 16-18!

We've got an amazing staff for you, with Anadama (Amelia Mason, Emily Troll, Bethany Waickman) playing contras called by Will Mentor, and Melusine (Kristen Planeaux, Sarah-Hadley Yakir, Eleanor Lincoln) playing English called by Mae Wilson. Max Newman will be strumming on Ukeleles, and we'll have lots more as well!

Waitlist registration will open in March and we'll run the lottery in early April.

Can't wait to see you there!

Important update! We're expecting Pinewoods to allow youth under 5 at camp (either vaccinated, if available, or tested, if not). We're extending the lottery deadline until April 12th in case you still want to sign up, or need to sign your kiddo up.

Also, we have over 200(!) people signed up so far, so we're definitely running a lottery. Make sure to get your name on there asap if you want a chance to come.

Of course all COVID policies are subject to change with conditions on the ground, and we'll keep you updated if they do.
