7 years, endless memories, and a heart full of gratitude. 💙 After nearly seven incredible years, the time has come for me to say goodbye to my role as Director of Operations at Courageous Kids.

To the amazing families and children I’ve had the privilege of working with: thank you. Thank you for your trust, your laughter, and for letting me be a part of your journey. Watching your sweet children grow and thrive has been the greatest joy of my life. You have taught me so much about strength, love, and community.

To our wonderful sponsors and donors: thank you for your endless generosity. I have seen firsthand how your support changes lives, and I am so grateful to have witnessed the impact of your kindness every single day.
Though I am closing this chapter, I will always carry these memories and these beautiful families with me. Thank you for an unforgettable 7 years. ✨

We’re excited to share that Courtney Morrow has been named Executive Director of Courageous Kids! ⭐

For many in our community, Courtney is already a familiar face. She first joined Courageous Kids as Operations Manager from 2017–2020, leading family programs and building relationships with our Courageous Kids and their families. She later returned as a volunteer and served on our Board of Directors for two and a half years.

Along the way, Courtney built a career in nonprofit leadership and development, and now she’s excited to be bringing that experience back to Courageous Kids.

“Courageous Kids has been a meaningful part of my life for nearly a decade. I’ve seen firsthand the importance of giving a Courageous Kid something exciting to look forward to and giving families time to simply enjoy being together. I’m grateful for the opportunity to help Courageous Kids grow while staying true to what has always made it special.”

"This weekend, we had the opportunity to go on one last adventure to Traverse City. We had amazing weather and were able to enjoy quality time together in the most beautiful location. We got home Monday evening.

This morning, Morgan passed away peacefully. His body was just so tired. My life is forever changed for having him in it. He was and is so very loved."
