Camp Evelyn (Girl Scouts of Manitou) Camp Evelyn is all about you and your friends having fun together, bonding, and learning what it means to be a Girl Scout! Camp Evelyn...Luv it!

Camp Evelyn is located in Plymouth, WI, with amazing nature and activities everywhere you look. You'll find a beautiful lake, a gentle flowing river and a super swimming pool! In winter you can snowshoe and enjoy a wonderful fire in our buildings. Come experience the swimming, canoeing, kayaking, walking and hiking, plus other awesome activities like campfire songs, arts n' crafts, and making s'mores! Today, we skated our hearts out in the rink!🛼

Our Hosing Around campers met some horsey friends today at Camp Anokijig. They learned about what makes horses so special and were able to go on their first ride of the week! 🐎

Our Retro Rewind campers got their pick of several fun activities including making throwback sand art, creating bead pets, tackling our low ropes course, and more.

To close out our afternoon, all of our campers roller skated to their hearts desire. We danced, played limbo, raced around the rink, and more. 🕺

After dinner, we will host an all-camp lip sync battle with a choice of Mission Impossible to follow.

We were lucky enough to welcome a new batch of campers on site today! 🏕️

Our Retro Rewind and Horsing Around camps are officially underway with our CIT III campers here to keep adventuring with us.

Our campers tackled our round robin today after moving into their units. We learned how to put up and take down our flag, took our swim tests, set tables, and chose our activities for the week.

To wrap up our night, we had our opening campfire with singing, dancing, laughing and getting to know each other.

We may be ready for our night, but we are so excited for the rest of our week. Our Horsing Around campers will be riding horses at Camp Anokijig, Retro Rewind will get Y2K makeovers, and more. All of our campers will also be able to roller skate, swim, and do even more camp-wide activities. 🛼🏊‍♀️ 🐎

If you are on camp, you’re probably going to hear Gummy Bear leading a song and keeping our campers engaged and happy with her singing. 🎶

Today was a full day of exciting crafts and experiences and we are enchanted! 💜

Today, our overnight campers got to show off their unique skills in a talent show led by our CIT III campers. 🪄

Our Camp of a Showgirl campers had their last session with tya_sheboygan and laughed through the entire thing! Thank you TYA for showing our campers the magic of theater and having so much fun with us. 🎭

In Choose Your Own Adventure, our campers chose to test out their skills on our lowropes course!

Our CIT III campers also got to hear from our counselors on the nuances of the job and how being a counselor can hold its own challenges as well as excitement.

We were also joined by Camp of a Showgirl day campers today! Our campers designed their own records, made mini disco balls, and created Taylor Swift sunglasses. We loved having you all on camp and hope to see you back soon.

To close out our day, our overnight campers and staff held a closing campfire where our campers showed off the skits and songs they learned this week and our counselors sent them off with well wishes. 🔥🕯️

BINGO! 🧣🚦🎸🏈🪩

Today our campers channeled their inner creators with a plethora of crafts including designing their own records, making slime, creating lava lamps, and more. Today, we also frosted Chai Tea Cookies and tried our luck at some Taylor Swift bingo!

tya_sheboygan spent some time with our Glen campers today pushing their creativity with wild hats. Our campers did beautifully creating scenes and characters from only their imaginations and the hats themselves.

All of our Dacha campers were also checked out back to their families with lots of creations and stories from their adventures with us this week!

This week has been so fun already and we are so excited to continue the Choose Your Own Adventure, Camp of a Showgirl, and CIT III sessions! 🏕️
