THANK YOU SO MUCH for yet again another amazing year!
This years turn out was a personal best for me ☺️ 150 BIKES EXACTLY had shown up with friends & family to support the family’s in need in our community by raising nearly $5,000! Each year is so bittersweet doing this and we SERIOUSLY could not do it without each of you that simply show up and help this all run so smoothly!
Thank you to each person who had shown up, bought some raffle tickets or blocked a stop for us to get through safely!

Fudgienuckles Pub and Grill once again out did themselves with the delicious donuts & giving us all the time and space to get going in the morning.

Quitting Time Pub & Grill, LLC for having some yummy food ready for us!

Eddies Lake House for the drinks & the views!

Kegger's for the final get together before the trek back to Quit Qui Oc!

Plymouth is always helping out with the final touch & their MVP’s! Ben Holzmann & Alyssia from Plymouth Fire and Rescue followed all day with their truck and trailer to make sure everyone could make it to each stop without a break down & Plymouth Police Department gave us an es**rt all the way through town to the ball diamond! THANK YOU!

Spotlighting our 2025 Recipients - Travis Lambrecht

My name is Travis Lambrecht and I am 53 years old. I was raised and lived in or near the Plymouth community until the age of 20. Then I moved to Fond du Lac and worked for the Department of Corrections for 30 years from which I am now retired. I am married to Keri with three children, two granddaughters and one on the way. Ten years ago, I was given an opportunity to revitalize an iconic local business in the city of Plymouth which has now become my full-time job.

Early in 2025, I was diagnosed with epithelioid peritoneal mesothelioma metastasis to lung. Basically, I have asbestos cancer in my lungs and abdomen. After a ton of research, we found Dr Hedy Kindler at the Chicago School of Medicine. A world known "mezo" specialist. A chemotherapy treatment was started which was a lot of trips through the wonderful roads of Chicago. Unfortunately, my body did not respond to chemotherapy and the cancer continued to grow. This eliminated the possibility of surgery (for now). Soon I will be starting a new treatment of immunotherapy at Froedtert Cancer center in Milwaukee along with trips to Chicago for CT's and assessments. I'm keeping a positive attitude and taking each test result as education for the next step in treatment.

The Plymouth community has been more than generous over the past few months with well wishes, prayers and financial assistance. A special "thanks" to the Plymouth Gift of Life and all those that volunteer and donate. You make a better world for those in need of assistance. Thank You!

Spotlighting our 2025 Recipients - Doreen Schreiber

My name is Doreen Schreiber. I am 60 years old. I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer (matasticized to liver) on 11/11/24. I was given 6 months to live without treatment but that was not enough for me! I just finished my 17th round of chemo with some of the masses shrinking. Treatment currently is to be on chemo until the end of 2025.

I had to take early retirement in June after 25+ years at Van Horn Automotive in Plymouth. I have my good days and bad days, but I am embracing each day as it comes with positivity. I have been focusing on spending as much family time as possible with my husband Leon, 7 grandkids, daughter Keri, son Eric, and their spouses. I enjoy my downtime camping with family and friends and embracing my crafty side.

I am so grateful for the support from the Plymouth community throughout the years and being chosen as a recipient of the amazing Plymouth Gift of Life.

Spotlighting our 2025 Recipients - Sarah Smith

Sarah Smith has been a resident of Waldo, Wi for over a decade. She runs a successful furniture restoration business on social media called Waldomidcentury. Her professional talents allow her to restore a dilapidated piece from the 60’s and 70’s and bring it back its original factory finish or she adds a pop of personality with color when the occasion calls for such.

Sarah was diagnosed with stage IV colorectal cancer a few days before Thanksgiving in 2024. She went in with a small side pain and walked out of the hospital with news she wasn’t prepared for. Her trials since diagnosis have been heavy and her business had to close for the time being. She has been filling her time with chemotherapy, playing with her dogs and making her husband rearrange the living room multiple times while healing from surgeries. She is forever grateful to this wonderful community she calls home and for all the joy that they’re able to bring to so many.

She has relied heavily on her community for support through her business ventures and is grateful to be supported further as a 2025 recipient of The Gift of Life. Thank you to all who orchestrate, invest and participate in amazing fundraising ventures through the year to be able to support others when times become grim.

Spotlighting our 2025 Recipients - Krissy Maas

Hello, my name is Kristine, but I go by Krissy. I was born, raised, and still live in Plymouth. I am a single mother to my amazing son Larry (3). I enjoy reading, but I am also a tomboy and love camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with my family, most importantly my son.

This journey has been long and arduous, and one I never expected to embark on at only 28. In early February of 2024, I found a concerning lump, and in late March that year, it was confirmed that it was breast cancer. We started treatment immediately with a double mastectomy followed by multiple rounds of max dose aggressive chemo and radiation. In June of 2025, I again went for surgery for reconstruction and removal of my ovaries and tubes with the hope that the cancer will not return. I am forever grateful to Gift of Life Plymouth for their selection and all donors for their generous donations.

Spotlighting our 2025 Recipients - Kelly Cruz

My name is Kelly Cruz. I am 47 years old and originally from the Glenbeulah/Elkhart Lake area. I currently reside in Howards Grove with my husband, Eric, and our two children, Conor and Kendall.

In August of 2022, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Colorectal Cancer. I underwent multiple rounds of chemotherapy, followed by a course of combined chemotherapy and radiation over several months. After completing treatment, a series of follow-up MRIs, CT scans, and bloodwork indicated that the cancer was no longer present.

Unfortunately, during a routine exam at Froedtert a year later, we were informed that the cancer had returned. This led to two major surgeries in September of 2023. Following those procedures, additional scans and testing again showed encouraging results.

In March of 2025, however, bloodwork once again revealed signs of cancer. Most recently, on July 22, 2025, I underwent another major surgery. This has been an incredibly difficult and emotional journey for me and my family. Pelvic recurrence is rare and presents unique challenges, but I remain committed to continuing the fight.

I am grateful to share that my most recent surgery went well, and I am now home recovering. We are deeply thankful for the continued support, kindness, and prayers from our amazing family, friends, and community.
