This class is designed for the patrol
officer and newer specialty unit investigator to develop and understand how to build cases from the
traffic stop. It will look at slang, indicia of street crimes, law, search warrants, and preparing for
court. Participants will gain an understanding of the evidence needed for drug and gang enforcement,
how to conduct lawful searches and seizures, and presenting that evidence in court.
