What a guid night! Old friends, new friends, a Bard, and even some Scottish weather all brought Scotland to the hills of Pleasanton! Thank you to all our program participants, Callippe Preserve staff, our amazing Entertainment Committee, all our open mic stars and all the braw lads and lassies who brought their Scottish spirt!

Happy Haggis Day🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🥃

As we celebrate Robert Burns tonight dinnae fash yersel if you couldn’t find a haggis….we’ve got plenty ordered for our upcoming Burns Supper on Friday, February 20th at the Callippe Preserve in Pleasanton from 5.30-11.00 pm.

Ticket prices are $65 per person with a $5 discount for members in good standing. Tables will be a maximum of 8 guests. Tickets are selling fast so today is a great day to secure your Haggis!

Tickets are now on sale for our St Andrew’s Society of the East Bay Burns Night at the Callippe Preserve in Pleasanton on February 20, 2026 from 5.30-11.00 pm.

Ticket prices are $65 per person with a $5 discount for members in good standing. Tables will be a maximum of 8 guests and ticket sales will be limited to a total of 90 so purchase your tickets today as they will sell out fast!

We are pleased to announce the installation of our new Officers for 2026, led by President Dr. Spencer M. Dayton. Our sincere appreciation goes to Charlie Houston, outgoing President, for her outstanding leadership. We thank all incoming and outgoing Officers and Trustees for their contribution to our Society. In a special moment, Charlie fulfilled her final duty as President by welcoming her son, Euan, as our newest member ❤️.

Quiz the season to be jolly! Oh what fun last night at our annual Christmas Pub Quiz🎄 We packed in the festive fun (and the people) for a memorable night of brain teasers, music and the man himself, Santa! 🎅 Great festive costumes and winners all around. Thank you to Todd and his amazing staff at SideTrack Bar & Grill and a huge thank you to Nikki Brown for organizing the night, and not forgetting the man who’s always right…our Quizmaster, Santa John Houston 🎅

Merry Christmas and we’ll see you all next year for many more great Society events🎄❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
