Adi's Clothes & Shoe Drive - Eagle Project

Wanted to provide our donors, volunteers, and supporters an update on the effect of our project.

Most of the clothes have gone directly towards the Sai Seva Trust orphanage in Warangal, Telangana.

Many of the other donations have gone towards flood relief in Bhadrachalam, Telangana.

Attached are pictures of Spandana Foundation's work on the ground.

Yesterday, our hardworking group of volunteers sorted and packed all our donations of clothes and shoes, and with that, we have officially completed the project! Thank you for all your donations and support!

By the numbers, we collected ~100 boxes of clothes and shoes, meaning over 8500+ DONATIONS! This isn't including the other clothes we slated for donations locally. This project could definitely be considered a success!

However, we do still need funds to acquire some new socks for the kids at the orphanage, as we haven't reached our goal for them yet. Please donate to us here: https://www.paypal.me/lankipalle (list the memo as "eagle project").

Many thanks to those who donated items and money, and spread the word. And biggest thanks to all the volunteers who put their best effort to make this project a success.

Volunteers NEEDED This WEEKEND!

Interested in volunteering for your community and gaining valuable service hours? We are organizing a clothes and shoes drive for an orphanage and we need YOUR HELP! We will be packing and sorting donations on Saturday, May 8th at these times:

Shift 1: 10AM - 1PM
Shift 2: 2PM - 5PM

Thank you all for your donations and support today! We collected 150+ bags of clothes and shoes over our 4 hour period, and all but filled up our storage unit! Looking forward to sharing more progress with you soon. Here are some photos of the work today:
