It’s free admission for ages 12 and under, and it’s an inclusive celebration for children of all abilities. Everyone is welcome — come as you are, in costume or not!

💙💛 **Knights of Columbus Acadian Festival Special Education Day 10/30th!** We’re proud to join the Iberville Parish School System in celebrating our parish students, families, and community!

🎉 **And we’re starting November with a BANG!** On **November 1**, The Arc Iberville will participate in the Acadian Festival Parade! We’re grateful to be part of a community that continues to show up, support our mission, and embrace opportunities for everyone to belong.

We are over the top excited to celebrate Ms. Katie Bartley as our DSP of the Year!

Katie Bartley - A Dedicated Direct Support Professional

The Arc Iberville proudly recognizes Katie, who has been employed as a Direct Support Professional with The Arc Iberville since April 4, 2023.

Katie is a beautiful example of what it means to serve others with dedication, compassion, and a genuine heart for people. She brings a warm, nurturing presence to the individuals she supports, creating an environment where they feel cared for, respected, and safe.

One family member shared these heartfelt words about the impact Katie has had on her sister's life:

“Katie has been such a blessing in Jana’s life. She is kind, patient and understanding, but most importantly, Jana trusts her and feels safe with her. That gives our family a peace that is truly priceless. Katie gives so much of herself and cares for Jana with genuine compassion and love. The difference she has made in Jana’s life means more to our family than words can say.”

Those words truly capture the heart of Katie’s work.

Even as an older adult herself, Katie demonstrates an incredible level of commitment and dependability. She rarely misses work and can always be counted on to step in and support other individuals with disabilities when she is needed. Her willingness to help wherever she can speaks volumes about her character and the kind of person she is.

Katie has a naturally nurturing spirit—one that makes the individuals she supports feel comfortable, valued, and cared for. She doesn't simply show up to do a job; she shows up with her heart.

Katie, thank you for your unwavering dedication, your compassion, your reliability, and the love you pour into the lives of the individuals you support. The difference you make may not always be measured in words, but it is certainly felt in the lives of those who know you.

We are proud to support **Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) through Louisiana Rehabilitation Services (LRS)**, helping students with disabilities prepare for life after high school and explore pathways toward meaningful employment.

Through Pre-ETS, students can explore career options, learn about workplace expectations, develop essential job-readiness skills, explore postsecondary education and training opportunities, and strengthen their ability to advocate for themselves.

We know that preparing for the future starts with opening doors, creating opportunities, and believing in each student's potential. When schools, families, community partners, and service providers work together, we can help students build confidence and take meaningful steps toward their goals! 🤝💼
