When Melody lost her husband and later faced debilitating illnesses of her own, one loyal companion never left her side: Max, a little Chihuahua-miniature pinscher mix with a big heart.

Today, Meals On Wheels of Hillsborough County in N.H., with support from PetSmart Charities helps Melody care for Max by providing dog food and other essentials.

The Meals on Wheels South Florida team is mourning the loss of one of our beloved clients, Mr. Archie McKeithen. We are so thankful for the opportunity to have crossed paths with him and to have been a small part of his daily routine. May he rest gently, and may his family find comfort in their cherished memories of him.
