We are all a flawed tool in God’s tool bag. The question is are you available to Him to be used for His purposes? I want to be. Hope to see you tomorrow at our monthly Iron Sharpens Iron men’s gathering. Bring your teenage sons too!! It’s never too early to expose them to truth, wisdom and purpose.

As a Christian there is no such thing a “church” referring to a building. God’s word calls believers His Church. Everywhere we go we are “having church.” So let’s go out and have some church Sunday- Saturday everyday, the way God intended it to be. Have a great week!!

The topic of obedience came up in a significant way last Saturday in our men’s gathering. There was some extremely good conversation and input about the topic and how important obedience is in the Christian walk. I also think it is important to recognize that as a Christian man being obedient, and at times taking the “high road,” doesn’t make you weak. The strongest men in Scripture were obedient and tapped into God and His Word as their strength.

I don’t believe being obedient and doing our best as Christians to “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men." (Romans 12:18) means we are weak or are incapable of defending Truth with strength and resolve.

Stay humble, strong and dependent on God for wisdom and guidance!!

Happy Monday. As I start this week and go out into the world I remind myself that God has placed me here to be obedient to Him and His Word. I leave all the other “stuff” like reaping, blessing and judging to Him
I have enough on my plate to focus on my personal relationship with Him then to involve myself in His business. Have a great week, honor Him in all you do and be Christ to others!!
