Providing the tools and resources to at-risk youth to further their education and become a first-generation college student improves their lives in so many ways that are immeasurable. A college degree can be their ticket out of their environment and will provide a path for these young people to pass their learnings and experiences onto their children, and their grandchildren. Thus helping one student achieve a college degree today, can help ten children achieve a college degree tomorrow.

Did you know your first career choice doesn’t have to be your forever career? 💼

One of the biggest misconceptions students can have is thinking they need to have their entire future figured out before they graduate.

They don’t.

Careers evolve. Interests change. New industries emerge. And sometimes experience leads you somewhere you never expected.

What matters is learning how to explore opportunities, ask questions, build skills, make connections, and keep moving forward.

As we begin another school year, Foundation For C.H.O.I.C.E. is asking our community to consider becoming a monthly supporter of the students we serve.

A recurring gift, even a small one, gives us consistent support throughout the school year and helps us continue providing one-to-one mentorship, college and career readiness, career exploration, and meaningful opportunities for students across North Texas.

💙 $10/month helps provide student supplies, mentoring materials, and resources throughout the school year.

🧡 $25/month helps support college and career readiness activities and exposes students to opportunities beyond high school.

💙 $50/month helps provide career exploration and professional development experiences that prepare students for their next step.

🧡 $100/month becomes $1,200 over the year, helping support one to one mentorship, college and career preparation, and meaningful student programming.

The future doesn't change on its own. People change it.

Every successful student can point to someone who believed in them, encouraged them, and reminded them they were capable of more.

This school year, Foundation for C.H.O.I.C.E. is looking for caring adults to invest just one hour a week in a high school student.

You don't need to have all the answers. We provide the training, curriculum, and ongoing support. You simply show up and be a consistent, encouraging presence.

We're currently recruiting mentors for students in Dallas ISD and Richardson ISD as we prepare for another incredible school year.

Our Tools for Tomorrow Back-to-School Drive has officially come to an end, and we are so grateful to EVERYONE who donated, shared our posts, purchased items from our wish list, or helped spread the word!

Because of your generosity, we are able to provide school supplies directly to the students and schools we serve as they begin the 2026–2027 school year.

Every notebook, backpack, pencil, folder, calculator, and donation makes a difference. These supplies help ensure our students can walk into the classroom prepared, confident, and ready to focus on their future.

We're still smiling when we think back to our 2026 Career Exploration Event! 🎉

What an incredible day filled with career exploration, hands-on experiences, meaningful conversations, and opportunities that helped students discover what's possible for their futures. None of it would have been possible without our amazing volunteers, mentors, business partners, educators, and community supporters who showed up to invest in the next generation. 💙

The excitement is already building because we can't wait for our next Career Exploration Event in 2027! 🚀 We're already dreaming bigger, planning new experiences, and looking for even more ways to connect students with careers, employers, and opportunities. Trust us...it's going to be even better!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success. We can't wait to do it all again! 💙
