A hole-in-one. Goldfish races. And nearly $525,000 raised for KidLinks. What an incredible day at the 2026 Energy Golf Classic!
Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our golfers, sponsors, committee members, volunteers and friends, this year’s EGC raised nearly $525,000 to support KidLinks and the children and families we serve.
And yes… we had a hole-in-one! The winning golfer and his wife reached out after the tournament to donate a portion of the prize money back to KidLinks. We continue to be blown away by the generosity of this community.
We even ended the day with our now-famous goldfish races — and the winning backer generously donated those winnings right back to KidLinks, too!
Why does all of this matter?
It costs approximately $100 for KidLinks to provide one music session at no cost to a family. For a child who may be nonverbal or struggling to connect and communicate, music can become a bridge — sometimes beginning with eye contact, a smile, reaching for an instrument or responding to a sound.
Those moments of connection are what this day is really about.
