Project Launch Announcement: Project Digital Nagarik

We are pleased to announce the official launch of Project Digital Nagarik: A Nationwide Youth Civic Action & Reporting Platform.

Project Digital Nagarik is a targeted initiative designed to turn grassroots youth volunteering into structured, data-backed democratic accountability.

Over the next few months, we are mobilizing a dedicated cohort of 100 trained youth leaders across 7 districts in Bangladesh, organized into 3 operational zones: Rangpur Zone, Dhaka Zone, and Rajshahi Zone.

Using a secure, mobile-optimized Civic Reporting Engine, our youth leaders will identify, verify, and log local community infrastructure issues and public service gaps.

These verified field reports will be translated into formal administrative correspondence delivered directly to Upazila Nirbahi Officers (UNOs) and local authorities.

With a rigid status tracking framework, this project ensures a transparent, closed-loop system for tracking institutional response times and local issue resolutions.

This project is going to be implemented by the CnS Bangla Foundation under the Digital Democracy Initiative (DDI) South Asia, supported by Accountability Lab.

We extend our sincere thanks to Accountability Lab for their trust and collaboration as we launch this digital utility to strengthen local institutional tracking and transparency.

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mr. Abdul Khalek Kochi, an esteemed Executive Member of the CnS Bangla Foundation. He breathed his last this morning after suffering a sudden heart attack. Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.

The entire Care & Shine Foundation and CnS Bangla Foundation families are deeply shocked and mourn this irreplaceable loss. Mr. Kochi was a remarkably genuine, cheerful, and kind-hearted individual. His warmth, dedication, and positive spirit will be deeply missed.

We pray to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him the highest rank in Jannatul Firdaus. We also extend our deepest condolences to his bereaved family and pray that Allah grants them the strength and patience to endure this tremendous loss. Ameen.

❤️ মানবতার পাশে CNS Bangla Foundation ❤️
অসহায় বৃদ্ধা কমলা বেগম (৮০) দীর্ঘদিন ধরে বয়সের ভার ও শারীরিক অসুস্থতার কারণে চলাফেরায় চরম কষ্ট ভোগ করছিলেন। নিজের কোনো ঘরবাড়ি নেই, জীবনের শেষ প্রান্তে এসে মানবিক সহায়তার অপেক্ষায় ছিলেন তিনি।

আলহামদুলিল্লাহ, CNS Bangla Foundation এর পক্ষ থেকে আজ তাঁর হাতে একটি হুইলচেয়ার তুলে দেওয়া হয়েছে। এই ছোট্ট সহায়তা তাঁর দৈনন্দিন চলাফেরা কিছুটা সহজ করবে এবং জীবনযুদ্ধে এগিয়ে চলার শক্তি জোগাবে।

মানুষ মানুষের জন্য। সমাজের অসহায়, সুবিধাবঞ্চিত ও দুঃস্থ মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়াতে CNS Bangla Foundation সবসময় কাজ করে যাচ্ছে এবং ভবিষ্যতেও এই মানবিক কার্যক্রম অব্যাহত থাকবে, ইনশাআল্লাহ।

Several families in Sundarganj Upazila had been suffering from a severe shortage of safe drinking water for a long time.

Alhamdulillah, Care & Shine Foundation has arranged a tube well for them, which will help provide clean and safe drinking water to the local community.

This small initiative is another step toward serving humanity.
