How amazing is this? We were able to donate the rest of our food to a community fridge in Brownfield! This is a known resource in town of where to go if you need some extra help. It’s open 24/7 just like the blessing boxes in Levelland we donated to yesterday- and today we were able to STUFF it! We pray this food blesses so many families. Have you found somewhere you can donate to in your area? No amount of time, food, or monetary donation is too small, the meals in a bag we were able to make cost $7.40 and will feed 4! If you need help finding assistance in your area please message us🤗

Hi friends! We have a small update today for you- it’s been a while, we hope this post finds you well! Today we took some of the funds many of you have helped us raise and used it to donate to 7 blessing boxes in the surrounding Lubbock community! Tomorrow we will go donate to 5 more! These donations include 2 meals in a bag inspired by Dollar Tree Dinners, milk, fruit, veggies, canned chicken, and more! We were also blessed with 24 gift receipts from Domino’s for free pizzas that went into the meals in a bag- so the meals can hopefully bless a family twice!

With SNAP benefits halted we know families are struggling- will you join us in praying that these meals find the people and children that need them? I also urge you to find a way you can help in your community whether it be time, canned food drives, or monetary donations. When our country is hurting we must answer the call to help how we can!

Last year Our Grace Garden helped feed the children and sent a boy to school with uniforms and books. This year we are behind with our fundraising efforts. Is anyone up for buying $5 squares for the Superbowl? We only have 2 weeks and need to sell 100 squares.

THANK YOU! By buying a Super Bowl square, YOU DID THIS!! Osare Orphanage has food. They are feeding the children, at the orphanage and from the community, and they blessed the local widows with flour and sugar. They have continued to upgrade the children’s dorms to comply with government standards by cementing the dirt floors and repair the outside. They also are sending another student to secondary school!!! THANK YOU for your contribution to all of this.

These are the words from our dear friend and partner in Kenya.

We are not that well , Things are getting hard, taking my time in prayers day by day God in Heaven to OPEN UP FOR THE ORPHANS and Widows whom, more so those who are in need.
Sometimes it's forced us to sleep with them and in the church only to Pray ... when they lack food.
As per now we don't have anything flour, sugar, cooking oil... we are just boiling vegetables and sometimes porridge and we take it like that.
Sister Kristen PRAYING IS SO IMPORTANT.
Even when I got through your word when you written in you timeline about

"2 Chronicles 7:14.- If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
We got much encouraged " POWER OF PRAYERS"
It's was a good testimony for us and it keeps us remind us even if we are having a lot of problems we have a " Most High problem solver" but it happens when you speak with God which is PRAYER..
Sister keep us in your prayers always up and we thank you for trying your best for the orphans and widows both in Guatemala and at Osare Community Based organisation center of orphans and widows.
Though we can't reward you anything but Our Prayer that God in Heaven to Do you anything your In need...
Our God to open for you closed doors, everything your struggling for either that of money, health e.t.c

This is the reason we are selling Super Bowl squares. Our friends literally are out of food. Please help us answer their prayer by purchasing a square or donating to this very important program.

Our Kenya Partner needs us to be the miracle they have been praying for in order to restock their pantry with essential needs. Please help us and have a little fun while you do it, by buying a square! If you can’t participate this time please join us in praying for that same miracle, that if not through us, someone will be able to help our friends at the Osare Orphanage!

When you have passion and desire, you can accomplish anything! Let me introduce to you Dany. We have known her since she was a little girl. She was an earnest little girl, and I'm not sure she trusted us much. But, over the course of several trips, she eventually gave in and gave us a smile! Now, she is a beautiful and intelligent young woman attending law school and modeling. She is also a talented artist. Her sponsor has been supportive and generous. It is amazing what just a bit of help will do for a young person. If you would be willing to help a child, you can make a huge difference in their life. Contact us here for more information. We have children that need a sponsor for just a few dollars a month.

Our friends at the Osage Orphanage in Kenya are in a difficult situation with unrest in Kenya. Bishop James feeds orphans and widows that come to his orphanage each Saturday for help, as well as the children that live onsite. Now, he is finding it hard to get food.

Please help! If you can spare a few dollars, please donate! Normally, I would hold a fundraiser and offer something or host an event to raise money, but this time I just need your help.

Our Beginning

Welcome to “grace garden” our new endeavor and our legacy!

After six wonderful years of growing and learning under others, we are now setting out on a new journey. “grace garden” is a group of adults and young people building a charity from the ground up to come alongside children and families in need. Although we will always be indebted to those we worked with in the past and what we learned, we realized we are called to do more.

Our immediate goal is this: To establish our 501c3 charitable status, establish our board, obtain mentors for our youth, assign roles for our staff and start on our first fundraiser. Our intermediate goal is to establish partnerships with local children and family agencies and find where we are able to serve in our immediate areas. Also, we will plan our first leadership trip to establish partnerships internationally and sit down with our new partners and determine their needs.

Our long-term goals are to set up “grace garden” so that it will be successfully run remotely from anywhere in the world, utilizing and training youth to participate, learn and lead. It is our desire to partner with agencies, orphanages, foster care facilities and other family-oriented charities, but also to involve youth from around the world to participate and become involved.
