The love for a child never ends, and their memory lives on in the hearts of those who love them.

This Child Loss Awareness Month, we honor the children who are forever loved and remembered, and the families who carry their memory every day.

Heroes for Children provides financial assistance with funeral expenses for families who have lost a child to cancer. While no amount of support can ease the pain of such a loss, we hope to relieve one financial burden and remind families that they do not have to face these difficult moments alone.

Tomorrow is National Handbag Day, and we’re celebrating our beloved Heroes & Handbags event!

Each year, this special event brings together friends who share a love of beautiful handbags and a heart for helping others. We love the laughter, the friendly bidding, and the excitement of taking home a favorite bag. What means the most, though, is knowing that every bid helps support Texas families with a child battling cancer.

Meet Kalyna, one of our 2026 Go Gold recipients.

Kalyna was diagnosed with leukemia on July 6, 2025. Since then, she has faced a difficult treatment journey, including 15 hospital admissions - many lasting weeks at a time as she navigates the challenging side effects of chemotherapy.

This past September, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we’re honored to celebrate Kalyna and her family through our Go Gold program - a small way to remind them that they are seen, supported and never alone. 💛✨
