Every day we try to honor the generations who survived, resisted, organized, and demanded what was always theirs.
Juneteenth is a celebration of Black freedom, Black resilience, and the enduring struggle for justice. It recognizes the people whose courage, resistance, and determination made liberations possible.
Today, we reflect on that legacy and recognize that the fight for dignity, safety, and full justice is still ongoing. At MLFA, we know that protecting freedom requires vigilance, advocacy, and a continued commitment to defending the rights of our communities.
