The Willow Bend Hunt Club was established in 2005 as a social organization comprised of local hunters and outdoorsmen in the West Plano area (centered near Gleneagles Country Club). Our members are hunters, fishermen, ourdoorsmen and women, and avid conservationists. While still a social organization, we have grown and developed into a robust philanthropic (non profit) organization serving many fa
cets of wildlife conservation, youth education, and outdoor sporting activities. Annually, the WBHC holds several key fundraising events, the largest of which is our Beast Feast and Sporting Clay’s Shoot, in the early spring of each year. More information on the Willow Bend Hunt Club can be found at our website (www.TheBeastFeast.org) or page: Willow Bend Hunt Club. In addition to this, the WBHC also arranges for specialty activities for youth organizations such as hunters education classes, youth hunting opportunities at member lease properties, and philanthropic donations to other worthwhile causes, such as Folds of Honor, Hunters for the Hungry, Military Warriors Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and Teammates for Kids. As a 501(c)(3) organization (application pending with the IRS), we are continually seeking meaningful conservation activities and opportunities, as well as outdoor & sporting fundraising events for our membership. Since our Inception, the WBHC has raised private donations to support a wildlife and wetlands project, and also funded an outdoor learning program through the Boys & Girls Club at an award-winning native black land prairie ranch in Blooming Grove, Texas. This ranch and wetlands project will be used as a part of our ongoing youth and adult outdoor education efforts. Our biggest efforts in recent years has been to fund educational scholarships for the children of fallen and severely wounded soldiers, through Folds of Honor Foundation
