Hello!
My name is Cookie.
I am working on being house trained, but at 8 months old, it's hard. I am almost there!
I am learning to walk on a leash, but until I finish my shots, I can't really try.
My foster mommy tells me I am a pretty girl, and you would be very happy with me as your new baby! Well, her exact words are, "Anyone would be blessed to have you as their baby, Cookie!", but I am also working on being humble. She just told me what you really want to know, is I am a Boston mix.
I am around 8 months old. I was born around Christmas, but I don't know the date. It's in my paperwork, and one of the humans who can read, can answer that.
My bestest personality trait is that I am a happy puppy! I have A LOT of energy. My foster mommy grunts and groans a lot, when she plays with me. She says I must think she is a human jungle gym. I don't know what that means, but I like to jump and climb on her.
She says I am one of the best cuddlers she has ever fostered! I do love to cuddle, so she must be right! I love to cuddle my foster mommy and daddy, as well as the other dogs in the house. There is one dog, named Song, who doesn't really like other dogs. He seems to like me. My foster mommy told me to make sure I tell you that!
There are 2 cats that live here. My foster mommy says I do pretty well with them, but I'm still working on my manners.
My favorite treat is sliced apples! I will do anything for a slice of apple!! I can't eat chicken, as it makes my tummy upset. I also had problems eating lamb based food. I am currently trying out salmon food. It's going okay.
I get along with everyone! I do well with kids, so long as they are big enough to handle me. I don't mean to play rough, but I am still learning to be gentle... I often forget....again I'm still working on my manners.
I can live in an apartment or condo, or a house without a yard, if I get to go on walks.
My energy level PUPPY!! Yeah, even though I am 8 months old, I can really puppy well!! Zoomies, wrestling, playing!! My foster mommy says I need to tell you hear, that I like to chew, but I don't tend to chew on things I am not supposed to... I really like chewing on yak cheese. My foster mommy gets yak cheese from Fetcheroni, and they are everywhere in this house.
I love to sleep in bed, nestled between my foster mommy and daddy. I also enjoy sleeping cuddled up to one of them. There is a heated dog bed in the house, for Philip... He's an old guy, who is tiny. I like to steal his bed for naps.
My biggest wish: A HOME AND A FOREVER FAMILY OF MY OWN!
