💙 Making a Difference, One Box at a Time! 💙

We made a BIG impact last night as we packed 80 boxes of nutritious meals - enough to feed 47 children for an entire year!!

What an incredible reminder that when we come together, even a few hours of our time can make a lasting difference in the lives of children around the world. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who showed up, packed meals, and helped make this event possible. Your time, energy, and compassion truly matter. Together, we’re honoring Cole’s spirit by spreading kindness, hope, and love far beyond our own community.

Today is National Forgiveness Day. And the hardest person to forgive is usually yourself. 🕊️

The what ifs, the last conversation, the moments you'd do differently if you could.

Grief turns us into our own harshest critics. But you loved them with everything you had — and that matters more than the moments you got wrong.

You deserve the same grace you'd give anyone else. Start there. 🌿

Today is National Grief Awareness Day—a reminder that grief is a reflection of love, and every journey through it is different.

At Cole's Camp, we believe that no one should have to navigate grief alone. Take a moment today to check in on someone who may be grieving. Say the name of the person they miss. Listen without trying to fix. Offer your presence, because sometimes that's the greatest gift of all.

And if you're carrying grief today, we invite you to join us at one of our upcoming events. Together, we remember, we honor, and we remind one another that while grief changes us, we don't have to walk through it alone. 💙

🚨 Right around the corner!

Monday, we'll gather once again for our annual Feed My Starving Children packing event—a tradition that holds a special place in our hearts.

August 31st marks 10 years since Cole's passing. For the past decade, we've come together on (or around) this day to honor his memory by serving others. What began as a way to navigate a difficult day has become a beautiful tradition of hope, community, and making a difference for children around the world.

📍 Aurora, IL
📅 August 31st
⏰ 7:15 PM – 8:45 PM

If you've been thinking about joining us, this is your reminder! There's still time to be part of this meaningful evening.

Every volunteer matters. Every meal makes a difference. Every box packed is a way to honor Cole's legacy while bringing hope to children who need it most.

💛 We'd love to have you with us.

Today, on National Rainbow Baby Day, we honor the incredible strength of families who have experienced the heartbreak of pregnancy or infant loss and celebrate the precious babies who bring hope after the storm.

A rainbow baby is never a replacement for the child who came before. They are a beautiful reminder that love endures, healing is possible, and hope can grow alongside grief. Every family's journey is unique, and every emotion—joy, sadness, gratitude, and remembrance—deserves space.

Today, we remember the babies who are deeply loved and never forgotten, and we celebrate the rainbow babies who have brought light into their families' lives.

To every parent walking this path, we see you. We remember with you. We celebrate with you. 🌈 💜

💙 Always Say Their Name Memorial Presentation – Submissions are now open 💙

Cole was born on October 27, 2014, and in his honor, we created Always Say Their Name Day as a way to celebrate his life, carry forward his memory, and remember all those who are deeply loved and dearly missed.

As we gather this year on October 27, we'd like to honor those lives with a special memorial presentation.

If you'd like your loved one included, we invite you to submit:
🩵 A favorite photo
🩵 Their name

Every photo and every name represents a life that mattered, a love that continues, and a legacy that lives on through those who remember them.

You can submit your loved one's information in whichever way feels most comfortable:
✨ Upload your photo to our Kudo Board: https://www.kudoboard.com/boards/J8f3POR6
✨ Leave their name (and photo, if possible) in the comments.
✨ Or email their photo and name to [email protected]

While this day began as a way to remember Cole's birthday and ensure his name is always spoken, it has become so much more. It is a day for every family to honor the people they love, to share their stories, and to remind one another that love doesn't end when someone is gone.

Because every life matters. Every story matters. And every name deserves to be spoken. 💙

✨ "Everything will be okay in the end, and if it's not okay, it's not the end." ✨

This quote is a gentle reminder for the hard days — the ones where it feels like nothing is going right and the weight just won't lift.

It's not asking you to pretend everything is fine. It's asking you to hold on a little longer, because the story isn't finished yet. 🌱

If today is hard, it doesn't mean it's over. It just means you're still in the middle of it. Keep going. 💛
