y started in 2007 when The Shepherd and Mother of Light, a humanitarian service group in Egypt aiding needy Copts, invited our group to witness the distressing environment within the Christian population in Egypt. The inhumane conditions and extreme poverty became our drive to establish the organization for the sole purpose of helping the needy Coptic population of Egypt. Our Mission
Care 4 Needy Copts is committed to raising awareness of the needy Copts in Egypt who live in extreme poverty. Provide the funding channel to support their development programs, serve the donors spiritually to see Christ in giving and inspire the new generation to embrace the vision.

Each month, we travel hundreds of miles from Cairo to hand -deliver the "Gift of Mercy" to 400 forgotten families for immediate relief and to share the love of Christ.

Misr Al-Mahaba Hospital Leads the Way — A Milestone for Healthcare in Upper Egypt!
We are thrilled to share that Misr Al-Mahaba Hospital مستشفي مصر المحبة, in Bani Mazar, El Minya, has reached an incredible milestone. As a beloved institution supported by Care 4 Needy Copts and The Shepherd and the Mother of Light, and under the care of the Coptic Orthodox Church's Diocese of General and Social Services, the hospital is reaching new heights.

Thanks to our donors and their support here in the USA, this mission of healing continues to grow and serve those in need.

And with YOUR Support, the hospital recently celebrated two significant benchmarks in excellence:
✅ Receiving its Quality Accreditation Certificate (GAHAR)
✅ Joining Egypt's Universal Health Insurance System

To celebrate this achievement, the hospital was honored by a high-level visit from:
- Major General Emad Kadwani, Governor of El Minya.
- His Grace Bishop Yolios, Bishop of Public and Social Services.
- Dr. Ihab Faltas, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Shepherd and the Mother of Light.
- Board members Dr. Gamal Zekry and Mrs. Eman Mehany.
- Dr. Nevine Fekry, General Manager of Misr Al-Mahaba Hospital.

Bishop Julius and Governor Kadwani toured the hospital's departments together, commending the efforts to provide comprehensive, dignified healthcare, especially for those most in need, without distinction.
