Black Business Month is a time to celebrate the power of Black entrepreneurship. Black-owned businesses are essential to our economy, contributing billions of dollars to the American GDP. They also create jobs and opportunities for Black people.

This month, let's show our support for Black-owned businesses. Here are a few ways you can do that:

You can shop at Black-owned businesses. When you shop at Black-owned businesses, you support the Black community and its economy.

Follow Black-owned businesses on social media. This is a great way to learn about and support new companies with your likes and comments.

Share stories about Black-owned businesses. This is a great way to spread the word about Black-owned companies and encourage others to support them.

Let's all do our part to support Black-owned businesses this Black Business Month. Comment below and tag as many Black-owned companies as you know of. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of Black entrepreneurs and their communities.

Happy National Intern Day! We're highlighting two recent field trips our Summer Youth Employment & Training Program (SYETP) Interns participated in over the past two weeks. Thank you to Suffolk County Community College and The Nature Conservancy for inviting us to tour your facilities!

While the SYETP Interns continue to learn multiple skills at their worksites, they are making memories with the other program interns and developing life skills over the summer!
