I have put off this post for a week.i am absolutely heartbroken 💔
Last Tuesday my gorgeous horse, Shunka, was diagnosed with a tumor. There is nothing the veterinarian can do for her. Just trying to keep her comfortable. It is in her jaw and around the back of.her teeth.
She has visibly lost weight in a week. Between the cancer itself and painful to eat.
Today it took coaxing her with some treats first to get her to eat any of her grain. When turned out she went for hay rack to hay rack. In the hour I watched her she didn't take a single bite.
And she seems to have lost the sparkle in her eyes. She is tired 😫
