We had our final practice for the Fall. Huge thanks to The Maize at Little Darby Creek for the pumpkins. The girls had a blast smashing them. We wrapped up the night with parent vs kid glow in the dark whiffle ball game.

Our 14U team got an opportunity to showcase all the work they’ve put in this Fall at the Field of Screams tournament. They went 3-0 on the day and left as tournament champions. Excited to put more work in over Winter and get back on the dirt next Summer.

Tomorrow’s the day!!!!! Come support LP Fastpitch at Der Dutchman. If you can’t make it for dinner you can stop by the bakery and grab something for the road. Just mention you’re there for the fundraiser. The team will get 15% of the sales and 100% of the tips. Doors are open from 5-7:30pm.

Save the date and leave dinner to us!!!! LP Fastpitch will be at Der Dutchman in Plain City next Monday 9/29 from 5-7:30pm. The girls will be filling the various roles required to run the restaurant like hosting, serving, bussing tables, etc. We will get 15% of sales from the night and 100% of the tips. The money raised will go towards tournament fees and help keep registration fees low for the girls.

Signing Day for the 2025-2026 season.

Tomorrow we’ll officially close out our season. While we’re sad to see the season come to an end, we’re extremely proud of our girls. Tomorrow the 12U and 14U team will play in the Manninos league championship game in the top bracket. Our 10U team will start tomorrow with the semi final game for the Manninos league in the top bracket. We’ve come so far in the last 5 years from one 10U team that went 5-33 to a 10U, 12U, and 14U team that all have over a .600 winning percentage and brought home hardware from several tournaments. Did we mention that 8 of those first 12 girls are still with us today?

Super proud of our 12U team. They battled through some tough competition, once again taking out the #1 seed to make it to the championship game. They went blow for blow in the championship game and came up just short in the 6th inning to finish as the runner up.

LP Fastpitch 10U made it to the championship game undefeated in a double elimination bracket. We played 5 1/2 innings of really good softball, but made a few mistakes at the end that the other team capitalized on to win the game. The girls showed tremendous grit in the second game and scored 6 runs in the first inning and never looked back. They wrapped up their final tournament as tournament champions.
