Do you know someone from ages 14-21 that has an interest in firefighting? The Bushnells Basin Fire Department offers a Junior Firefighter program that gives first hand experience alongside with our firefighters. Junior Firefighters have the opportunity to ride the rescue truck when they turn 16 to get even more exposure! This program is also a great way to get volunteer hours for high school or college!
If you know anyone that is interested, come by Mondays at 7pm and we would love to give you more information.

Today, Engine 312 was honored to provide a fill-in for the City of Rochester Fire Department, allowing our brothers and sisters to attend today’s services as they mourn the loss of their brother, Lieutenant John “JJ” Joseph.

It is a privilege to stand beside our fellow firefighters during times of need, just as they have stood with so many others throughout the years. The fire service is one family, and today we were proud to do our small part to support the Rochester Fire Department.

On behalf of the members of the Bushnell’s Basin Fire Department, we extend our deepest condolences to the Rochester Fire Department, Lieutenant Joseph’s family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing JJ.
