This Monday October 19, we will be having our community recruitment drill. We are bringing a fire truck to your neighborhood! Starting at 7pm Monday, the trucks will be in the neighborhoods of Charing Cross, Selbourne Chase and Whittlers Ridge! Come by, say hi, check out the trucks and talk to our volunteer firefighters. We will even let you spray the hose!

Thank you to everyone in our community for attending our annual open house. The members of the BBFD always look forward to this. Thank you to the agencies that took the time out of their day to come out and assist!
It was great seeing so many families learning about fire safety and enjoying all of our activities.
A huge thank you to all of our members who helped make this open house great!

Tomorrow is the Bushnell’s Basin Fire Department is opening its doors for our annual Community Open House!

Yesterday, our members participated in the 3rd Battalion extrication drill. This training involved firefighters from across the 3rd battalion working together in 4 different scenarios.
Thank you to MESFire for sponsoring the event and having instructors come in from around the region.
This was a very well attended event and a great way to work together.

This weekend, we had the honor of having Past Chief Todd Bane come host his vehicle extrication weekend class.
Members from the BBFD as well as Fairport Fire Department worked together and had a great training.
With many major roadways in our district, it is key to be proficient in these skills to help our community.
Thank you again Chief Bane!
