Tonight our November meeting was serving as guests to the Vietnam Veterans chapter 20 of Rochester monthly meeting. We brought in a gift of refreshments and presented the Vietnam Veterans with a certificate of appreciation for their service to our country and to our local community of veterans. This was an honor to be present among the brothers and sisters who served in Vietnam, and the energy of community and brotherhood was felt in the room this evening. Thank you to DAR sisters who joined us this evening, and thank you to the veterans of the Vietnam War for serving our country. Your sacrifice will continue to be honored by the Daughters of the American Revolution and also your fellow American citizens.
