A HUGE THANK YOU TO PITTSFORD CREW!

Pittsford Youth Services (PYS) would like to sincerely thank Pittsford Crew for being such an incredible partner at our annual Duck Drop!

Led by John Leyland and Brad Laundy, the Pittsford Crew team generously provided boats, expert boat-driving skills, and their time to help make this event a success. 🚣‍♂️

John and Brad made sure our ducks made it safely to the finish line and then helped scoop all 2,500 ducks out of the canal! 🦆👏

PYS could not put on this amazing community event without the equipment, resources, and support provided by Pittsford Crew. We are so lucky to have such a dedicated community partner who shows up and helps make the magic happen!

Thank you, Pittsford Crew, John, and Brad, for your time, generosity, and support! Our community is better because of partners like you! 💙

The Self-Care Wheel reminds us to care for ourselves, too—physically, emotionally, socially, spiritually, personally, and professionally. 💚

Take a moment today to ask: What area of my life needs a little more care?

Small steps matter. You matter. 🌱

Pittsford Youth Services would like to express our deep appreciation to the Pittsford Town Recreation Department for their support of PYS and the Duck Drop.

While everyone sees the finished product of the Duck Drop, many do not see the support we receive from the town staff to allow our agency to focus on running the event.

The town coordinates so many things behind the scenes and allows PYS to utilize their resources by bringing the chutes we hang on the bridge, 2500 extremely heavy ducks, setting up and testing the sound system, providing tables and chairs along with a tent for a great selling location. Not to mention all of these things are brought back to our office and taken down by town staff. There are so many ways they help we surely forgot to list them all.

The Town has been instrumental in making the PYS fundraiser for Mental Health Services extremely successful with their partnership during the Food and Music Festival. PYS is so fortunate to be in a community that is so supportive with a town that not only has its back but helps lead the charge.

While there are so many staff that we met during the event we are unable to list them all by name. What we can say is that under the leadership of Jessie Hollenbeck, Alison Burchette and to every single town staff we are extremely grateful.

💙 Celebrating Suzanne Luce! 💙

After an incredible 23 years with Pittsford Youth Services, we want to take a moment to celebrate and thank Suzanne Lutz as she begins her well-deserved retirement!

As a Social Worker at PYS, Suzanne has been a compassionate, dedicated, and invaluable part of our organization. Her commitment to supporting children and families has made a lasting difference in our community.

And Suzanne’s contributions didn’t stop there! She was an integral part in the creation of Camp Heartstrings, and year after year, she has been a tremendous help with our Duck Drop, always pitching in to make this special PYS fundraiser. 🐥

Suzanne, thank you for 23 years of caring, dedication, laughter, and service to Pittsford Youth Services. We are so grateful for everything you have given to PYS and the families we serve.

Please join us in wishing Suzanne a very happy retirement! 🎉

Congratulations, Suzanne, and thank you for everything!
