“The Big, Bad and Ugly is one of the most iconic and awesome longboard surf contests in the world. When I moved here in 1991 I joined up with this classic and fun club. I surfed in at least 20 of them. Some of the years were small, good and beautiful with mellow Morro Bay waves and others, the true classics, were down right frightening and a gas. I meet many wonderful surfers from the club as well as other longboard clubs throughout California and made many wonderful friends. I’m looking forward to a beautiful day and barrels of fun!
