We are pleased to announce that the Chapman Estate is now owned by the Chapman Estate Foundation, a nonprofit public benefit corporation specifically entrusted with preserving and operating the Chapman Estate for community benefit and charitable purposes, a haven for community, local history, amazing coastal nature, music and the arts, as Benefactor Clifford Chapman envisioned and planned. The overwhelming community support for the preservation of this historic Estate has helped bring this day to a reality. We thank you for the tremendous support for preserving this amazing property and Clifford Chapman’s legacy. Watch this space for future updates and please come visit during this final month of our Open Gates season Tuesdays and Thursdays 11-2 and Fridays for Music with a View in the garden 5-7:15 pm

As the begonia blooming season comes towards its end, our volunteers are working hard to prepare the begonias for their winter slumber. A huge thank you to Paul and Laurel Carlisle for making the amazing display happen year after year for more than a decade. A small collection of blooming plants remain in the greenhouse, as the majority of the plants are trained to put their energy into their tubers in preparation for a beautiful next season.💕 thank you to all of our volunteers who come together year after year to make this beautiful display for those visiting the Chapman Estate 🌸🌼💕
