Woodburn Raceway NHRA Heritage Series double event.
Thanks again to Summit Attachments and Machinery for their Nostalgia AFD bonus fund.
Race 1 quickest losing package went to Doc Bates in the final, Sean Bellemeur and Wayne Ramay each picked up qualifying bonuses.
With Sean Bellemeur's win streak holding, the target is still on his back to the tune of $500.

Next event is right around the corner Sept 10-11 at Redding Raceway...

Sean Bellemeur and his family race team pulled of the double winning both Woodburn Raceway Nostalgia AFD events.

Friday qualifying in Woodburn, OR for the Nostalgia AFD class has 4 cars making the trip.
With the scheduled 2 sessions completed tomorrow's eliminations looks to have #1 qualifier Doc Bates facing Erick Krume in a battle of injected nitro dragsters and Sean Bellemeur vs Wayne Ramay in a blown alky match up of dragster vs altered.

Additionally Sean and Gregg Bellemeur were awarded the Summit Equipment Bounty for taking out Doc Bates at the previous event in Redding CA.

6 Nostalgia A/Fuel (pro-comp) teams attended the Heritage Series, Redding Dragway, Funny Car Fever event during the Memorial Weekend.
Qualifying was a tight field led by Doc Bates followed by Sean Bellemeur, Wayne Ramay, Eric Krume, Jerry Kumre Jr and new comer Ray Nicholas in the LaVoie injected nitro dragster.
The final round was the #'s 1 & 2 qualifiers Bates vs Bellemeur with Sean getting the whole shot win with his 6.03 covering Doc's 6.02.
Once again Eric Krume andnhis Summit Attachments and Machinery handing out cash.
Jerry Kumre and Wayne Ramay received the random draw qualifying cash, Doc Bates was the quick loser and Sean Bellemeur took the bounty money and now has the target on his back, something he is probably accustomed to in the Alcohol Funny Car world.

Another successful Nostalgia A/Fuel event at Firebird Raceway in Phoenix AZ, stop #3 for 2026.
The bounty on Wayne Ramay was finally claimed as Doc Bates defeated Wayne in the final and took home the $750.00!!
Doc also was awarded his best losing package of $250 from.the March Meet final.
Eric Krume got to take back some of his own money with the $250 random qualifier cash!
