The Cat Garden Rescue (TCGR) is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose objective is to spay/neuter homeless cats, and place adoptable ones in loving homes. We trap, neuter, and return cats who choose residency at people’s homes, gardens, parks, schools, and on the streets. Our goal is to help our communities in reducing cat population, teach compassion, educate, and offer solution

s to unwanted cat presence in the Richmond, San Pablo, El Sobrante, Rodeo, Hercules and Pinole areas. We are not able to accept owner surrenders as we are a small, non-profit organization without a designated facility.

This is Marvin. He is totally blind. He was rescued from Bart Property where he had lost his way from the colony there. We think because he couldn't see anymore. He has just moved into Lucinda’s new home after living with her and Joe into a small apt. This is just after a few days. He is mapping out the kitchen area he swings his head side to side.

My name is Conan and I am available for adoption. I am a love bug and will nest on your tummy when you are asleep. I can do the back flip easily and come to you when you call me . I am located in Pinole. I live with 2 male cats, a 10 year old child and 3 adults. I would need another fairly young cat in my next home. Will you spread the word? Thank you!

Today Conan, Anaconda and Melody were spayed atJoybound People & Pets. They all are on the adoption path. Conan will go into fostercare with Missy.
The other 2 will stick together as they are both females and only 4 weeks apart. Anaconda, our dark tortie will help Melody coming out of her shell. More on all of them shortly.

Yessssssss! Heidi and Noela were adopted together today in a family with 2 young children. Both were gentle and listened to their mom’s instructions. These 2 sisters were on line for at least 10 weeks. We are so glad that one of the boys picked them and both children wanted them. Glad our new foster Lindsay immediately agreed to meet the family . They were ready and had other kittens to visit. A great outcome today. Lindsay gave the family lots of food and toys. We are so happy!

Meet 16 weeks Conan ! He was living with his mama with a nice older lady who was diagnosed with Alzheimer and was sent to a home. The spayed mom is with someone from her building and will stay there. The lady’s case worker emailed us every day for a week. We finally said yes. This shy, gentle boy will go to an old foster of ours after his neuter. Thank you Missy!
