We are primarily an elderly, fur-folks home, but will occasionally take in a puppy or two. Due to health reasons, I do my best not to take in anybody new. That said, we
still have dogs/cats in our sanctuary

This goes with the territory when you have a sanctuary with old, sick dogs, but never gets any easier! We lost another precious, old soul, Rocky. He was the alpha dog til the day he died. Although he could no longer fight, the younger dogs still respected him. When he got down, his two kennel mates would constantly check on him, so he was loved as well. Fly high Rocky! Now you can run and jump with our other fur-angels at the Rainbow Bridge! 🌈

ATTENTION RESCUE FRIENDS! We are located in Pine Grove, Louisiana. I took in 3 of the most beautiful puppies I've ever rescued. They are healthy, have their first worming and shots and are eating kibble already. There are 2 females and one male. Based on their PUPPY BREATH, they are about 12 weeks old or less. They are already BIG with the heaviest being 15 # so they will certainly be big dogs. Their mom was supposed to be Golden Retriever and I'm told they look like they have some type of livestock guardian dog in there. They are available to the first rescue that claims/picks them up. I'm willing to assist with transport. They are also available for ADOPTION. If you are a rescue and interested, please send me a pm. Today we lost a long time sanctuary member. Her name was Coco. She was a sweet, sassy girl and she will be sorely missed! See you at the Bridge 🌈 sweetheart!

Isn’t Emery the cutest? She has been waiting patiently for some time in her loving foster home 🥰

Emery is a blue nose pit about 2-3 yrs young and 55lbs. She is super dog, child and people friendly. Emery is crate trained, house trained and fully vetted. We pulled her from a high kill shelter. No cats for Emery.
