Last night at "A Night of Blues 2026," awards were given to two musicians who have given greatly of their time and talent to Port City Blues Society. Lex Capraitalia received the Dave Miller "Drummer of the Year" award and Jerry A. McCoy received the Dave Miller "Musician of the Year" award. Join us in thanking these two talented members of Port City Blues Society!

King Biscuit Blues Festival 2026 in Helena, Arkanas was a blast!

A lot of Port City Blues Society folks and friends were there attending and a number of them performed on the various stages including the Port City Blues Players, Billy Jeter, BBQ Bob & the Spare Ribs, Kathy Kidd and Detroit Johhny. Also, Tina Cossey, Josh Parks and Dougie Roisen performed with the Delta Divas including Liz Lottmann, Diane Rudolph, Charlotte Taylor, Lala Craig, Meaza Joy, Prayer Bailey, Jeron Marshall and Carla Denise.

Lifetime Port City Blues Society member, Bobby Rush put on quite a show Saturday night right before John Primer. There was a nice variety of blues all three days from many other artists too numerous to list here.

Our ace photographer Jay Hiatt was there. Watch for his photos later!
