Calling Day 1โ€™s conditions โ€œdustyโ€ would be an understatement, as racers faced brutal conditions on what many expected to be an easier opening day at the 100th edition of the FIM International Six Days Enduro (ISDE). Thick, relentless dust severely limited visibility, while blown-out berms and uncomfortable heat made the course even more challenging. Despite the conditions, Team USA pushed through with some strong performances.

The U.S. Womenโ€™s World Trophy team led the way, with Brandy Richards taking the dayโ€™s win, Korie Steede finishing close behind, and Rachel Gutish securing a top-five finish despite the conditions. The U.S. Junior World Trophy team also delivered a solid performance, finishing third overall, while the U.S. World Trophy team started slowly, sitting fifth heading into Day 2. Racers will tackle the same course again tomorrow, with continued dust and difficult terrain expected, but spirits remain high as Team USA proudly represents the United States at this historic 100th edition of ISDE.

The United States has won the FIM Enduro Vintage Trophy (EVT) for the first time. The American trio of Fred Hoess (Husqvarna), Billy Burns (Can-Am) and AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Terry Cunningham (Husqvarna) took the Vintage Veterans Trophy at the tenth running of the event in Zschopau, Germany.

The American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation (AMHF) โ€” located in Pickerington, Ohio, in Fairfield County โ€” received a grant of $14,500 from the Fairfield County Foundation to help fund efforts to build the Motorcycle Rider Safety and Community Support Building on the organizationโ€™s campus in Pickerington, Ohio.

With construction planned to be completed by early 2027, the Motorcycle Rider Safety and Community Support Building will be a multi-purpose structure centered on storage of safety equipment and event supplies, as well as containing a dedicated office area that will support event registration, concessions, volunteer coordination, emergency response documentation and other operational activities during public events.
