Tomorrow is Election Day. ๐Ÿ—ณ

Tuesday, November 8.

Mid-term elections theyโ€™re called.

This date has been trumpeted loudly and clearly for months โ€ฆ all across our great nation. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

But the vote that is the most important one for me is the local one.

And - specifically - the school one. ๐Ÿ“š

NOW is the time for this community to do the right thing for both our students and staff.

NOW is the time to elevate their real, daily needs above all others.

NOW is the time to embrace the gravity of the overcrowding and make a real change for the better.

NOW is the time to understand that cramming more kids into crowded hallways and classrooms is not academically beneficial.

NOW is the time to understand that safety and security are compromised when enrollment exceeds capacity.

NOW is the time to vote FOR the PLSD ballot issue.

Now. Is. The. Time. ๐Ÿ’œ

As we close out our charity auction event from Saturday the 23rd, we are almost without words at the generosity and support that comes 100% directly back into our buildings and classrooms. We are proud of our sponsors, staff, local elected officials that came out to support the schools, and every community member that participated in this event by touching even one aspect of the planning and implementing of the event. A huge shout out to our PTO presidents and tree decorators who killed it this year with their awesome trees!

Although we do not have a final tally yet as committments are still coming in and a few expenses are straggling in ........
