Veterans Affinity 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We minimize barriers to Veterans' care. Honors * Housing * Healthcare veteransaffinity.org

We take a special interest in our 65 and older Veteran population. We will ensure our Veterans are in a safe environment and can help them find suitable housing based on their needs. We will also ensure our Veterans are receiving the care they need. If we discover Veterans are losing their ability to take care of themselves, we will explore additional care in their home. We can also coordinate additional medical equipment needed (oxygen, bed, wheelchair, walker, shower chair, etc). Once our Veterans are in a safe environment and they have the medical care they need, we will assist them apply for the benefits they have earned. We will assist Veterans with VA enrollment, appointments, pension, disability, and compensation claims.

An incredible morning of training with our dedicated Veterans Affinity volunteers in Phoenix, Arizona. Today’s message was simple: Veterans will always remember how you made them feel.

We shared our purpose, mission, and vision, highlighting how our volunteer advocates remove barriers to Veterans’ care. We practiced ways to help every Veteran, especially those experiencing isolation, feel seen, heard, supported, valued, and remembered.

We also emphasized buddy checks: taking time to ask how a Veteran is doing, listening with care, and offering meaningful support. A simple check-in can remind someone they matter. No Veteran should stand alone.

Heartfelt thanks to our Veterans Affinity team for turning compassion and commitment into action. Every conversation, visit, and buddy check helps remind a Veteran they are never forgotten.
